I first experienced the industry in 2011 via work experience placements that I sourced myself. These gave me a taste of what being a Runner / Assistant could be like and I was determined to get my foot in the door! 

 

I was thrilled to be offered an apprenticeship with the BBC in April 2012, and worked as a Runner for 4 months before being allowed to move in to

the Art Department. During my year with the BBC I worked on programmes including 'Luther' and 'What Remains', gaining hands on training from the fantastic teams I worked with.

 

I have been freelance since April 2013, and have worked my way from an Assistant to a Standby Art Director. I enjoy being part of the on set team, but hate when drinks make their way onto set!
